I was desperately looking for a warm jacket to survive in Toronto, when it was around -25 Celsius with 25 km windchill in January 2018. None of my goose/down filled parkas could keep me warm, not even Canada Goose. Then Google led me to this shop in Vancouver. Ashley took my measurements over the phone and found a right size. The order arrived within 4 days. The jacket is in men's style so it's a straight cut. It fits a little snug below the hips. I can ride my electric bicycle without feeling the wind is going through me.
Nothing trumps sheepskin when it comes to extreme cold weather protection (ok, except for caribou fur which is not easily attainable). Unlike birds, sheep don't migrate to the South to escape Winter!
Overall I'm very happy with the purchase. This jacket weighs about 2.3 KG as the sheepskin is sourced from Uruguay, but the wool is very soft and dense, close to the texture of Spanish merino wool, very pleasant to feel against my skin.
