The pure new wool fibers in our baby lambskin rugs are hollow and spring-coil shaped which provides pressure distribution while allowing air flow to regulate body temperatures through all seasons; offering cool & dry comfort in the summer months while providing warm insulation through the winter.
Machine washable lambskin rugs or 'lambies' are most commonly used in cribs and cots as a sleeping pad. But these super soft lambskins are easily transportable and can also be placed in strollers, carriers, car seats, and playpens. Generations of parents can agree that everyone sleeps a little longer with a baby lambskin.
Each of our Baby Grade sheepskin rugs is tanned and treated chemically-free to meet European Union and OEKO-TEK® Standard 100 for the health & safety of baby products. This manufacturing does not include the use of any formaldehyde or chromium compounds. Infants should be swaddled and placed to sleep on their backs.
General Care: Regular brushing will maintain the soft, fluffy appearance of the sheepskin. Avoid direct sunlight and high heat sources, such as blow dryers and radiators. Our Long Wool Baby Lambskins are a pure pelt of natural shearling sheepskin. They have extra fine virgin wool which has never been trimmed and the wool pile is approximately 45mm (2") for extra loft, softness, and a decorative appearance.
