We continue to process and ship orders daily.
The health and well-being of our employees and customers is our highest priority. This is especially important to us as a family-run business with seniors involved and newborns in our homes. It is our intention to remain open unless a government mandate is imposed on all businesses in our City or Province.
How we are adapting:
To help slow the spread of COVID-19 we are no longer offering in-store pick up or visitors to our Vancouver location. We are also limiting our on-site staff to one office employee and one warehouse employee at any given time. We sanitize all high-touch surfaces regularly and maintain physical distance from one another as well as from courier drivers wherever possible.
What this means for our customers:
We continue to process orders daily and aim to meet our same-day shipping goals. Minor delays may occur in our processing times, and Canada Post shipping times have increased by approximately 1-2 days for all domestic shipments within Canada.
First established in 1987, Southern Cross Sheepskins Inc. is a family owned and operated retailer, wholesaler, and distributor of genuine sheepskin products based in Vancouver, BC. Our family history and the foundation of our business is importing Australian and New Zealand sheepskin products to North America, and over the past decade we have expanded to include products from South America, Europe, and Asia. In the early years of the company we travelled to various auto shows and gift shows with a single banner that read "Sheepskin Products" and eventually became known simply as "the sheepskin shop". Many years later with the advent of the internet we were able to secure the domain of SheepskinShop.com as our website address. Today our "SheepskinShop" is a digital storefront for all things sheepskin and wool.
We have always worked directly with a range of manufacturers who offer different speciality products within the sheepskin industry. These industry leaders and skilled workers provide us with the best products available. Our company focus is to supply our customers with premium quality sheepskin products that offer plush comfort and style while exploring the natural benefits of sheepskin and wool.
We have been donating to many causes over the years. Our donation efforts most commonly support environmental, human rights, and social justice causes. Feel free to contact us for more info about our company donations.
