Australian Merino wool is naturally breathable and helps manage heat and moisture. The wool is clipped and brushed to an even 1.25" length with a dense 500 GSM weight, adding a layer of natural wool between the crib mattress and fitted sheet.
The elasticized skirt fits around a standard 52" × 28" crib mattress to help keep the pad securely in place. This is a fitted wool mattress pad designed for use under a crib sheet and is different in construction and feel from our Baby Lambskins.
General Care: Allow the mattress pad to air after removing it from the packaging. Regular brushing helps lift the wool pile and maintain its appearance. Spot cleaning is recommended for small stains and spills, and the mattress pad can also be machine washed or dry cleaned. Avoid direct sunlight and high heat sources such as radiators and blow dryers.
For machine washing, use a delicate cycle with cool or warm water and a mild wool-safe liquid detergent. Tumble dry with air only (no heat) and brush the wool once dry. For more information, please refer to our Care Instructions.
