After losing mine in an mva, my granny made from wool she'd sheered, spun on a wheel, then covered in flax, I spent hours trying to find one close to its quality. Unfortunately, the average cost for traditionally made duvets is $800+, so I continued to search and research. I then found Sheepskin and asked numerous questions, especially since there's no return as there is on Amazon. Although, like most, it's made in China, the price was similar so I decided to support their small business was the closest to home, and it arrived overnight. However, if you have sensory issues, it does make crinkling, rustling, swishing noises which I hope will settle over time. It also had a strong odor so I reached back to the company and was told it had been stored in the sealed bag for sometime; that it's from the lanolin in the wool and must be aired outdoors for several days. I think this should be noted on website as well as a note being sent along with the duvet. Otherwise it has a nice weight and is cozy and warm, praying not too warm in summer months because the main reasons I purchased it is because it's said to have temperature regulation as well as to help with asthma and allergies and I hope to be able to use it year round.

Generous size….warmth without weight

I love the duvet! It is very comfy ...it's as though I'm being hugged all night.
I also bought the mattress cover which I love as well. It is very grounding. My sleep has be much more restful. The prices are fair.

Recently bought our wool duvet and are using it as a mattress pad. It is soft and so comfortable! It’s alleviated the problem of a too-firm mattress. Feels like we’re sleeping on a cloud.
